The terms in detail

1. Acceptance of terms

By visiting MouseJiggler.pages.dev (the "site") or using any part of it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any of them, please stop using the site.

These terms apply to every visitor, whether you're using the mouse jiggler tool, reading the FAQs, or just clicking around. You don't have to sign anything — using the site counts as agreement.

2. What MouseJiggler is

MouseJiggler is a free, browser-based utility that uses standard web APIs (Wake Lock, Web Audio, and similar) to keep your computer's screen awake and signal to status apps that you're active. Everything runs locally in your browser — the site doesn't move your real mouse cursor, doesn't talk to your operating system directly, and doesn't install anything.

The tool is provided free of charge and is intended for personal use. There's no account to create, no subscription to manage, and no premium tier.

3. How you can use it

You're welcome to use MouseJiggler for any lawful purpose, on any number of devices, for as long as you'd like. You can:

  • Use the tool on personal or work computers
  • Bookmark the page and reopen it as often as you want
  • Share the link with anyone
  • Mention or write about the site in your own blog, video, or article

4. What you can't do

A short list of things that are off-limits:

  • Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically copy the site to clone it elsewhere
  • Don't misrepresent MouseJiggler as your own product
  • Don't use the tool to defraud anyone — for example, lying to an employer about your work activity when you've agreed not to
  • Don't attempt to break, overload, or attack the site or its infrastructure
  • Don't use the site if you're under 13. If you're between 13 and 18, please use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian

5. Intellectual property

The design, code, copy, and visual identity of MouseJiggler are owned by Vinitha. You're not granted any license to copy or reuse them, beyond the personal use described above.

Trademarks mentioned in the FAQ or copy (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, etc.) belong to their respective owners. They're referenced descriptively — no affiliation is implied.

6. Third-party services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and loads typography from Google Fonts and CSS utilities from a CDN. Each of those services has its own terms and may collect basic technical information (IP address, browser type) to deliver content reliably.

For details about any other analytics, advertising, or measurement tools we use, please see our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

MouseJiggler is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. That includes (but isn't limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We don't guarantee that the tool will keep your status active in every chat app, on every device, or under every corporate IT configuration. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service — the site is a static page hosted on a free tier and may occasionally be unavailable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Vinitha and the operators of MouseJiggler are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site. That includes (but isn't limited to) lost wages, missed meetings, disciplinary action by an employer, or any other claim related to your reliance on the tool.

If you have an obligation to your employer or any other party to be at your computer and working, you're responsible for honoring that. MouseJiggler is a tool, not a substitute for being present.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may change over time. When they do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with a change, please stop using the site.

10. Termination

We may discontinue or limit access to the site at any time, for any reason, without notice. Since there are no user accounts, this simply means the site may no longer be available — there's nothing to cancel or delete on your end.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
